Why are we presenting information about on-time high school graduation rates with pregnancy rate data? The ages for high school students (14-18 years old) is nearly identical to the ages for late adolescence (15-19 years old) used to report pregnancy rates. Many young women who become pregnant do not complete their high school education by the age of 22.[1] Though not as well studied, some male partners of teen mothers drop out of school to earn money for their family.[2]
